ObamaCare gives Planned Parenthood activists access to every American's financial, medical records

>> Navigators have access to the federal data hub, including medical records, tax forms, and Social Security numbers.

>> The data hub culls information from the IRS, the Social Security Administration, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), the Defense Department, the Office of Personnel Management, the Veterans Health Administration, and the Peace Corps.

>> The Obama administration awarded three grants to hire “navigators” to: Planned Parenthood of the Heartland ($214,427), Intermountain Planned Parenthood, Inc.($295,604), and Planned Parenthood of Northern New England ($145,161).

>> A previous criminal conviction – including one for identity theft – does not necessarily disqualify an employee from becoming a navigator.

Planned Parenthood employees will soon have access to a vast federal database of sensitive information, including the Social Security number, tax form, bank account, and medical records of every single American citizen as the president seeks their help in implementing ObamaCare.

Consumers purchasing health insurance through health care exchanges will speak to “navigators,” whose job is to help them find the best coverage and determine if they are eligible for a federal subsidy.

"The Obama administration has awarded Planned Parenthood more than $655,000 of taxpayer funds to hire “navigators” for the president's health care reform law, the Affordable Care Act (ACA). State affiliates in Iowa, Montana and New Hampshire were among the 105 organizations receiving $67 million in federal grants.

"HHS will not require background checks or fingerprinting of employees, and a previous criminal conviction – including one for identity theft – does not necessarily disqualify an employee from becoming a navigator..."

Obama building 'criminal investigator' squad to target Americans that defy ObamaCare

* Obama authorized to hire only  50 criminal investigators and 261 consumer safety officers.  Ignoring law, he hired 86 criminal investigators and just two safety officers.
* ObamaCare's federal squads focused more on prosecuting opponents than delivering health

"More than 1,600 new employees hired by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Resources in the aftermath of Obamacare's passage include just two described as 'consumer safety' officers, but 86 tasked with 'criminal investigating' – indicating that the agency is building an army of detectives to sleuth out violations of a law that many in Congress who supported it still find confusing...

"...The difference between what HHS spent on new Obamacare-related employees and what it was authorized to spend is explained by its failure to hire most of the 261 'consumer safety officers' it was authorized to bring aboard. Only two such employees were hired.

"While OPM authorized HHS Deputy Assistant Secretary for Human Resources Denise Carter -- later renamed Denise Wells -- to hire 50 criminal investigators, the agency increased that number to 86 on its own.

"'Sounds like we now have the Obamacare police,' said (Judicial Watch)'s president, Tom Fitton, after MailOnline showed him the new data."

'The Obama administration continues to assert near unilateral power when it comes to Obamacare,' said Dan Holler, (Heritage Action)'s communications director.

'This blatant disregard for the rule of law raises serious questions as to how these new criminal investigators will behave, what guidelines they will follow and who will provide much-needed oversight.'

NSA Program Secretly Ruled Unconstitutional in 2011

"The National Security Agency illegally gathered as many as 56,000 emails and other electronic communications between Americans with no connection to terrorism as part of a collection program that was ruled unconstitutional by a secret spy court in 2011.

"The Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court rendered its decision in an 86-page opinion on Oct. 3, 2011. It was declassified Wednesday by U.S. intelligence officials, and Director of National Intelligence James Clapper authorized the release of the opinion...

"In the opinion, Chief Judge John Bates found that the government had "advised the court that the volume and nature of the information it has been collecting is fundamentally different from what the court had been led to believe."

"Bates said the court must rely on the government to say when it improperly spies on Americans, according to the opinion..."

Fewer voters than ever now consider Obama's UAW bailout a success

"The number of voters who consider the bailouts of the auto industry a success is at an all-time low, while the fewest in a year think the bailouts were good for the country.

"A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that just 40% of Likely U.S. Voters think the bailouts of the auto industry were good for the United States, the lowest level in a year. Slightly more (45%) think they were bad for the country, up three from March and the highest since last August.."

Campaign to recall two Colorado Democratic state senators appeals to some surprising demographics

“...This is a truly grassroots campaign, and we’re reaching demographics that the GOP seemingly can’t,” Kerns says, noting that the campaign is popular with unions and steelworkers. (The former president of AFSCME 123 signed the petition to recall Giron, calling the senator’s vote for gun control “the final straw.”) Five of the six founders of the BFDF have never been involved in politics before, she tells me. Two of them are “plumbers in their twenties,” and another is Hispanic. “Not typical conservatives,” Kerns notes. The group is also popular among women. “In fact,” she adds, “this isn’t a partisan thing: Combined, the number of Democrats and independents that signed the recall petition outnumbered the Republicans...”

The Obama Rodeo Clown Controversy is a Good Thing, and Here's Why

"...Is there something unacceptable about any of this? Is the president somehow too sacred to endure a joke, jab, parody, or — as the Los Angeles Times describes the rodeo stunt — a "provocative bit of satire?"

"No. Nothing about politics should be off-limits. People must be able to convey their views freely and frankly. To impose restrictions on the crude would be arbitrary and unjust. Sometimes free speech will offend, but it is a necessary tool to maintain a healthy and open dialogue about the government."

A Horrifying Look Into North Korea

"Tales from North Korean defectors have for years offered small glimpses into the brutal circumstances inside Pyonyang's prison camps. While information about the nature and scope of these abuses is sparse, enough stories have leaked from the air-tight regime to make it clear that the regime is abusing its citizens.

"But only this week, for the first time in history, has the international community responded with a formal United Nations investigation into the abuses. A UN Commission of Inquiry is officially hearing testimony from victims this week. And, while its findings of widespread abuse may not be surprising and options for meaningful response to stop the abuses are slim, the platform offers a step in the right direction as a rare stage to put a spotlight on the abuse.

"A female North Korean, Jee Heon-a, testified that women in particular have been brutalized and sexually exploited, some suffering forced miscarriages through beatings "and other forms of torture" from guards at detention facilities. In another harrowing example of the brutality, she recounted a gruesome tale in which a woman was forced to drown her own baby.

"We toiled as bid and ate what they gave us, we took their beating and starved when they didn't give us anything," said Shin, who escaped in 2005. "We were expendables they were keeping as beasts of labor, to get the most out of us before we die."

This bill tolls for thee, Democrats

"...Nothing will influence 2014 (and 2016) nearly as much as the implosion of Obamacare, which so far has been messy and will become even worse.

"Demographic allegiances aren't always stable, parties cannot re-brand themselves in a vacuum, and the current contenders will be judged, not for who they appear to be today but on who they become in the next three years...

"...Democrats are pinning their hopes on Jan. 1, 2014, when subsidy checks start going out to Obamacare recipients, as they believe that once an entitlement goes into practice, it never can be dialed back.

"But what if the pain suffered by those hurt by the bill — those whose premiums soar, whose doctors and jobs disappear, and whose coverage suffers — outweighs the gain of those getting benefits, and these people make their voices heard?

"Except for somewhat higher taxes, Medicare and Social Security never hurt anyone, and disrupted the lives of no actual voters. Obamacare does. The time has long passed when Obamacare could be called a success; what remains to be seen is the size and the scope of the chaos it brings; and what this will do to its party of origin."

Cato study points to overly generous welfare system

"Welfare currently pays more than a minimum-wage job in 35 states, even after accounting for the Earned Income Tax Credit, and in 13 states it pays more than $15 per hour....

"...Cato's calculations are based on what a single mother with two dependents would receive from a full-time job paying the minimum wage versus the value of benefits provided by seven major federal welfare programs, including Temporary Assistance for Needy Families; Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program; Medicaid; Women, Infants and Children Program; Emergency Food Assistance Program; housing assistance and utilities assistance. The value of benefits is adjusted to account for the Earned Income Tax Credit, its state-level equivalents and the federal Child Tax Credit. (The EITC is a calculated percentage of income based on earnings and dependents that reduces taxes owed by the amount it exceeds the total otherwise due.)"

Secessionist ‘51st state’ movement gains steam in rural Colorado

"Colorado’s secessionist “51st state” movement gained steam Wednesday as commissioners in an eighth rural county agreed to add the question to their November ballot.

"The three-member Kit Carson County Commission voted unanimously Wednesday to place a referendum on the Nov. 5 ballot asking voters if they support joining other rural counties in splitting off to form a new state, tentatively called Northern Colorado.

"Kit Carson is the latest Colorado county to join the protest movement that has emerged in reaction to the Democratic-controlled state legislature’s aggressive liberal agenda that detractors have dubbed the “war on rural Colorado.”

ACLU sues Oklahoma over Ten Commandments monument at Capitol

"The American Civil Liberties Union is waging judicial war on Oklahoma, suing the state over a Ten Commandments monument at the Capitol building that one attorney for the group decries as an unwelcome mat to visitors.

"The monument was a $10,000 gift from Republican Rep. Mike Ritze and his family in 2009. It was placed in a prominent area in the Oklahoma State Capitol in Oklahoma City, with the consent of the legislature."

Coptic Christians chant in Tennessee streets: ‘Obama, don’t you care?’

"Hundreds of Coptic Christians took to downtown Nashville, Tenn., streets this week to protest the ongoing and escalating violence their faith is facing in Egypt.

"Among their chants: “Obama, Obama don’t you care? Christian blood is everywhere,” The Tennessean reported. The demonstrators, waving Egyptian flags, also called for Americans to “pray for Egypt.” And signs abounded, with messages such as: “We are against Muslim Brotherhood.”

Democrat wants abortion pill for 11-year-olds

" New York mayoral candidate Christine Quinn, who is speaker of the City Council, said one of her political platforms is perhaps opening the door for middle school girls to receive morning-after contraception, known in some circles as the abortion pill.

"Yes, doing so “can make some people uncomfortable,” she said, as the New York Post reported. But, she added, “this is a really important option we need to make accessible.”

"That means some girls as young as age 11 could have access to the pill. Ms. Quinn, who faces off against former Rep. Anthony Weiner in the Democratic mayoral primary — made the comments after receiving an endorsement from the Planned Parenthood of New York City Political Committee.

Ex-Rep. Allen West calls out Obama over Oklahoma killing

"After President Obama waded into the Trayvon Martin shooting death and subsequent acquittal of George Zimmerman, critics of the president wonder whether he’ll also address the senseless killing of an Australian college student in Oklahoma last week.

"On Twitter, former Rep. Allen B. West, Florida Republican, hinted that there may be a racial double standard at play, given the lack of outrage from Mr. Obama and civil rights leaders."

Egypt’s Coptic Christians face unprecedented reprisals from the Muslim Brotherhood

"Islamist mobs have torched schools and businesses owned by Christians, looted churches and even paraded captive nuns through the streets of a city south of Cairo in a display of rage unseen in Egypt’s recent history."

White House jokes about killings of Christians in Egypt

"The White House’s deputy press secretary today downplayed Muslim attacks on Christians in Egypt, joking about the savagery  that has left at least six Christians dead.

"Press secretary Josh Earnest was asked by Fox News’ correspondent, Ed Henry, if President Barack Obama has a “red line” beyond which he would act against Muslim attacks on Egyptian Christians.

“Well, I didn’t bring my red pen out with me today,” Earnest joked.

Rich white Obama supporters caught faking hate crime on college campus

One of the two students removed from Oberlin College earlier this year for allegedly circulating virulently racist, anti-Jewish and anti-gay messages around campus is an ardent leftist and committed supporter of President Obama, The Daily Caller News Foundation has learned.

Dylan Bleier, one of the two students, hosted a voter registration drive in a Walmart parking lot sponsored by Organizing for Action, the community organizing project that advances the agenda of President Obama.

The Oberlin Police Department identified Bleier and his partner in the spree, Matt Alden, as two of the principal architects of a month-long spate of racist, anti-Jewish and anti-gay messages at the small, private campus.

Duck Dynasty Star’s Passionate Anti-Abortion Speech Goes Viral: ‘What in the World Happened to Us?’

Duck Dynasty’s Phil Robertson is apparently fiercely anti-abortion. In fact, he believes the United States’ acceptance of the practice is proof that the country has strayed far from her founding principles.

The popular television star in a video that has just now gone viral can be seen preaching to an audience in Pennsylvania about God, the Bible, and the Founding Fathers.
